1. I am not a model but want nice pictures that will look good, can you work with me?
Yes, do not worry. SINN Photography works with your best qualities, to accentuate them and show the beauty of you as an individual. Few women are 5’10” and a size 2. You do not need to crash diet. In our initial consultation, we will discuss with you what are your best features, which make you feel most confident, and in our session, we will use composition, soft and appropriate directional lighting and tailored poses to create the best atmosphere for quality pictures of you.
2. Will you use Photoshop editing? Are you familiar with Lightroom?
Editing should be the exception, not the rule. The goal of any session with SINN Photography is to capture, in the setting and lighting, quality and memorable pictures of your true self. Minor color adjustment, correction of blemishes, and light contrast and enhancement are part the processing of all the final photography prints. And, if requested, additional retouching work, including skin smoothing, diffuse lighting, may be included to add emphasis and effect. Photoshop and Lightroom are the standard editing programs used by SINN Photography, and we are proficient in both.
3. Can I bring a friend with me for my session?
Well, of course, you should feel free to bring a friend along with you if that helps you to relax and feel more comfortable. Most clients feel that any anxiety quickly subsides once a session begins and do not feel the need to have someone else present. But keep in mind, that if you decide you would like someone to accompany you, it should be someone in front of whom you are able to be partially nude or dressed in intimate apparel, if part of your session.
4. What should I bring? Should I go out and buy something new?
We recommend that you bring your own wardrobe, and will help recommend an appropriate ensemble for your session. More likely than not, you do not need to purchase something new, but if you desire a fresh new look, we can also recommend several options for affordable and quality styles and lingerie, if needed. SINN Photography also provides supplemental accessories, including lingerie, hats, jewelry and other accents to help compliment your wardrobe and accentuate your pictures.
5. How long will it take for me to see the final result?
Processing ordinarily takes from 1-2 weeks from the date of your proofs selection, but may be sooner depending on the circumstances. Rush orders may be placed at an additional cost.
6. I am nervous and particularly about working with a male photographer, would a female be a better choice?
Everyone feels some measure of anxiety at first, but everyone who has worked with him has come to feel comfortable in the professional and relaxed atmosphere that Sean Sinn creates. SINN Photography has helped build portfolios for over 125 women in the past several years, and still counting. Please review the Testimonials section to see what others have had to say about their experience. But you should decide for yourself whether you feel a female photographer may better suit your needs.
7. Do you photograph men?
Yes. Whether for professional portrait work or indeed, nowadays, intimate boudoir photography, which is no longer limited to women, SINN Photography can help male professionals, bachelors or husbands develop a photography portfolio for themselves. |
